We recently sold Eyse's MODEL mother, Lies' fan Bommelsteyn, and we were so impressed with the 2009 colt she produced by Mintse, we bought him, too!  Eyse was born on May 8, 2009. He has very nice Friesian type, is athletic and has great movement. Wonderful upright neck and very correct in conformation. He also has an exceptional people-friendly disposition and a very curious and willing nature. He will be suitable as a sport horse, for dressage, or try him for approval!

He is an excellent stallion candidate, with his full pedigree:

Model-Model+Pref 7-Ster+Pref 5-Ster

and I believe he will mature into a very handsome adult stallion. This boy is gonna have a lot of hair!

Eyse is  quite a character. He is full of himself, has a very willing and curious disposition and has quickly captured the attention of all the horses on the farm. Eyse will be a wonderful horse for dressage with a forgiving, willing disposition, wanting to please his owner. He is maturing into an extremely handsome adult! It will be a pleasure to watch him grow. He is simply a very quick study when it comes to learning new things. He is leading well, trailers,  and picks up his feet and enjoys being brushed and petted. That is about all we do with them at this stage but we may have to advance faster with him to keep him challenged as he is a quick learner!

Eyse is the son of a Model mare. His dam, Lies (see second page of photos above), with her elegant floating trot, always brings the crowd to their feet. Keeping with the definition of "Model Mare the model by which all Friesians are judged", Lies is shear poetry in motion. Lies was bred by Mr. J.J. van der Muelen who owned her dam, the famous Sjiekedame, Model (who BSF also sold), and is the horse who holds the highest IBOP score on record for a mare. Lies obtained a 1st premie star award as a 3 year old.  Lies is 1 of only 2 mares that achieved Model status in the US for 2002. In addition to the Model predicate, Lies also was named Champion Mare and Best of Show in that Keuring.  She comes from prestigious stam 15 and incredibly is the 7th mare of her line to achieve Model. This includes 2 model+pref, 4 model, 1 star+pref, and 2 star.  Take a look at the photos above of Eyse's sister and brother, as well---pure quality!

Eyse (Eye-sa)  is true to Friesian type, athletic,  and a wonderful mover.

His sire, Mintse, has the Sport predicate behind his name. The sport predicate is earned when the horse has proven himself as a superior horse in competition. Not only must the horse achieve a high level in sport but he must also win at a high level consistently. Mintse has earned this predicate in dressage, competing and winning at Z2 dressage in the Netherlands. Mintse has also been the winner of the Silver Whip, a special award given for success in the dressage arena. In the Netherlands Mintse was very successful as a show driving horse, wowing both the judges and the audience with his amazing trot. Mintse is the highest rated stallion in North America for improving the trot on his offspring. Mintse is also the highest rated stallion in North America on "Sportability" of offspring. Mintse's offspring have been rated for their ability to do well in sport and there is not another Friesian stallion in North America who scores higher than Mintse at having offspring that have the potential to be top quality sport horses. He is from stam 25, 16.1 hands tall, the 2005 FPS World Champion stallion, the stallion with the best trot (FPS jury, 2007 Hengstekeuring), a winner of the Silver Whip, and multiple time winner of the "Zilveren Klomp", an award given to the crowd favorite as the horse with the best trot. Mintse's offspring have beautiful heads, well developed necks, good conformation and demonstrate the same impressive movement as their sire.

The friesian stallion is long-legged, refined and elegant. He has a nice long neck that ties into the shoulder and wither well. He is already a very good mover!!

I feel this stud colt is already a champion... just wait until he grows up and proves it!

Eyse comes from the prestigious stam line 15, the SAME line that has produced approved stallions such as Ygram, Meindert, Gaije, Adel, Lolke, Tsjalke, Sjerp, and Pier.

You can't beat the price on this  FULL PEDIGREE stallion candidate..this one won't last!
