Horse Description
A 6 yr old beautiful 16.3 hand Friesian Gelding that is an incredible mover. Kind hearted, impeccable ground manners. This is a Friesian designed and built for Dressage, or an ideal pleasure horse. Very nice canter and trot with a lovely walk. Mike has masculine stallion like looks with breathtaking movement. “Perfect in every way” best describes him. He enjoys his job and is very responsive. He really is an exceptional mover and incredibly smart. He always wants to please.
This is a gorgeous full pedigree forward moving friesian with a Great Walk, for you dressage riders. He is also kind and forgiving enough for a timid or novice rider. He loads, clips and stands in crossties nicely. Mike is a confident horse with a very refined WOW presence, and a beautiful head and eye. Mike will be an ideal pleasure, trail, or dressage horse for a beginner OR aspiring dressage rider, due to his lovely temperament and willing nature.
He has a full set of x-rays on a cd that our vet approved. Mike is so much fun to ride because he wants to work. Mike is a far better horse then most friesians we see and try because he is more willing to go forward, but not in a scary way at all. He is beautiful to look at and just a real easy ride. Plus he is fantastic on trails. Mike's lateral work is solid and he is willing to do it.
And his pedigree is SUPERB, with unbroken STER predicates in his motherline:
STER-PREF-STER-STER
When used for lessons, Mike is so patient with them. He is the sweetest guy. Guaranteed whoever gets this horse will LOVE him. He is nice and forward but is also very quiet.
Mike is showing training level currently. Very easy to ride. He can do shoulder-in, haunches-in, and half pass at the trot in his sleep. He does walk-canter, canter-walk. Halts square every time. A real easy push button no issues type horse. His sire is Tjesse 400 and his dam's sire is Rypke 321. Mike is FHANA reg. and is by far one the nicest dressage/trail horses in our barn. He is big. 16' 3 hands and has the sweetest eye ever. Very easy to ride and fantastic on trails.
Mike showed training level last year with a 71 percent in his scores. Think you might want to show a little---Mike should get all 7's and 8's and the judges love him. He is such a great trail horse and loves the trails, so we hope whoever buys him will trail ride him too! We have a full set of x-rays on him from when he was three, and a thorough vet exam done on Feb 11, 2010. He has never had any health issues whatsoever.
This is a GOOD one: young, reasonably priced, tall, well trained imported friesian gelding with an outstanding character that is tolerant of ANY level rider.
