Height: 16.1
BIG, BRAVE, HANDSOME, a RARE 6 yr old Friesian with 169 points in L2 level dressage, and two M level [2nd level] competitions under his belt, where he was the resounding champion,Theodorus wowed the Judges with his movement! AND Theo has substantial training both under saddle and being driven! He even has considerable experience out on the trail and in traffic. Theo has a great future ahead of him. He enjoys dressage and he is GOOD at it, competing at M level [comparable to our 2nd level]. He has a very sweet character and is ALWAYS willing to work. Theo is ready to take someone to the TOP in dressage. He also enjoys relaxing trail rides, and long grooming sessions. He is very comfortable to sit, and has forward and smooth gaits. If you are looking for a Friesian to compete in dressage with, you NEED to look at THIS horse. This jet-black horse is kind, giving, non-spooky, has an ideal topline and is naturally built uphill, and he WANTS to please. He has 3 good gaits, a FANTASTIC canter, and shows incredible potential for upper level dressage. Here is truly an FEI Friesian. He measures 16.1 hands...this is a TALL modern sporthorse! Theo has a fabulous disposition, and can be ridden by all levels of riders. He would do well as a competitive dressage horse, but make no mistake about it, Theo also loves to go on relaxing trail rides/hacks. We like Theo's wonderful training attitude as he is always in the mood to go for a ride. He is eager to please, and has a quiet and easy attitude. He is very easy to handle, and would be suitable for beginning riders. Even the Judge's commented on Theo's fine character and willingness to work! Trained to BOTH ride AND drive, Theo is one of the nicest Friesian dressage geldings on the market today, and he has a current pre-purchase exam, negative flexion testing, and clean x-rays taken on Aug 24, 2004.
