Horse Description
Brechje is a beautiful jet-black studbook mare. She is 4 years old and a gorgeous Friesian, with a superb pedigree as well as a great riding/driving horse. She just missed becoming STER at the keuring, and was the next in line behind the last mare crowned STER. Brechje was a bit excited and cantered most of the time, and we think she has an EXCELLENT chance and should be tried for STER again ....and if she trots, she will surely make it:) Her sire, Tsjerk, is considered one of the finest authorized Friesian stallions in the world and is known for passing on that rare floaty trot. His offspring are doing very well in competition and are also easily identified by their beautiful looks, movement, and personalities. She is from a relatively new stam line 148. Brechje shows perfect conformation and powerful gaits. Great disposition, easy to handle, Brechje would be an excellent family horse, great for pleasure riding or taking out on the trail or up in the hills, and is fine for very timid or novice riders. Brechje is a joy to ride AND drive, come take her for a spin at our Sonoma Wine Country Stable:) Brechje is 100% safe, sound, and sane, under saddle, pulling a carriage, and on the road, even with loud trucks going by.
