BIG, BRAVE, HANDSOME, STER gelding, Victor is at the IDEAL age of 7, with a proven show record in 2nd level dressage, clean x-rays, and not only did he achieve the STER predicate, he was chosen for, and completed, the 70 day stallion test in Drachton!
AND Victor has substantial training both under saddle and being driven! He even has considerable experience out on the trail and in traffic. Victor has a great future ahead of him. He enjoys dressage as well and he is GOOD at it, competing at M level [comparable to our 2nd level, with 4 winning points]. As a 3 1/2 yr old, he earned the ster stallion status and was one of only a few that were chosen to attend the 70 day stallion test, making it all the way to the end. While he did not become an Approved stalion, he DID become a top dressage competitor, as a gelding, and even has considerable experience as a carriage driving horse. He has a very sweet character and is ALWAYS willing to work. Now he is ready to take someone to the TOP in dressage.
Victor also enjoys relaxing trail rides, and long grooming sessions. He is very comfortable to sit, and has forward and smooth gaits. Victor has a recent vet report and clean X-rays. This black horse is kind, giving, non-spooky, and he WANTS to please. Heck, he has TONS of experience attending competitions and being exposed to different settings. Nothing spooks or bothers Victor.
We like Victor's 3 VERY good gaits, a FANTASTIC rockinghorse canter,and he definitely shows potential for upper level dressage. He measures 16.3 3/4 hands...this is a TALL boy!
Victor has a fabulous disposition, and can be ridden by all levels of riders. He would do well as a competitive dressage horse, driving champion, but also loves to go on relaxing trail rides/hacks. We like Victor's wonderful training attitude as he is always in the mood to go for a ride, and we are confidennt he will get the job done in a dressage test, no matter the level of the rider. He is eager to please, and has a quiet and easy attitude, responding the most to POSITIVE reinforcement. He is very easy to handle, and would be VERY suitable for beginning riders. Even the Judge's commented on Victor's fine character and willingness to work.
Trained to BOTH ride AND drive, Victor is one of the nicest and most reasonably priced M level friesian dressage geldings we know of, at an ideal age with loads of experience, and he has a current pre-purchase exam and clean x-rays.
