Horse Description
Picasso is a first premium ( ranking in the tippy top 5% of all friesians!!!) TALL gelding...
He has a very nice head, a BEAUTIFUL long mane and tail, and experience showing second level dressage ----in front of the carriage!!! Not to stop there, under the saddle, he has experience showing First Level here in the US!! This gorgeous big boy was clean on x-rays when we imported him, and we liked him soooo much, we recently bought him back from his Wyoming owner, who ONLY decided to sell due to lack of time to thoroughly enjoy this sweet boy.
He is a a real show horse. Picasso (registered as Ewold) is very willing to work and please.
This tall handsome boy is REALLY SOMETHING in harness!!!! He moves so very well from behind, he really tracks up; we just LOVE this guy's movement. And after spending many years and experience with children--showing 4H, hundreds of hours on the trail, parades, etc, Picasso is now trained to "float " both under saddle and driving.
He has a current pre-purchase exam and negative flexion tests. Picasso is trained to drive as a single, pair, and 4 in hand, and he would make an ideal dressage driving horse, or marathon driving companion. We are equally excited about Picasso's future as an outstanding dressage horse, as he has done quite well showing in USDF dressage since arriving in this country, and has that rare elastic fluid movement.
Long hair, short coupled, deep black in color, and a great mind all make Picasso an exciting experienced horse ....... Even some of the Approved stallions don't move as well as this guy..........
Take him out on the trail, or show him in dressage. He is a true gem. He is sound and ready for the show season. Comes with a lifetime USDF registration and is Microchipped.
He has never, ever been lame or sick. He is incredibly tough!! Wyoming winters are brutal and Picasso used to walk right into the snow, with it blowing in his face!!
We will only sell him to a wonderful home. He is TOTALLY bomb proof, kid friendly and has lots of trail time.In his last home--he was ridden by nephews and the local 4h Queens!! He loves doing the local dressage shows and parades. He even went to state for 4H!! Here is a friesian that we imported as a 4 yr old, has had lots of training, and is the PERFECT beginner horse.
