Gosse is an upper level dressage gelding confirmed in all the exercises at 3rd Level ,except the flying changes!!....in fact, he has lots of show experience, and is a relaxed, friendly gentleman with fabulous gaits. This is a FANTASTIC 5 yr old STER Gelding who just won the Dressage Suitability Open and Championship at the Monterey Springfest Horse Show!! And a recent good pre-purchase and clinical x-rays!! This Nanno son has tons of talent, and would be an excellent horse for riders wanting to move up the levels, and impress the Judges at upper and FEI levels. He is a fabulous horse for a junior, or adult amateur with big dreams.
Gosse has solid simple lead changes and excellent lateral work, GREAT half pass, super collections AND extensions, and is one of those RARE, hard to find friesians, that will have no problem with the flying changes.
Gosse stems from good bloodlines. Sire, Nanno, is a pretty stallion out of Djurre. Nanno has VERY good scores for the trot. Gosses' dam's sire is one of only two living PREFERENT Approved stallions, Feitse Preferent. Gosse achieved a 1st premie as a foal, and then earned his STER status in 2005. We think Gosse is destined for the Grand Prix arena, he is THAT special:)
Gosse is tall, long legged, and short coupled, and his birthday is Jan 14th, 2002. He has a very strong motherline: Stb-STER-STER+PREF-STER, and a jet black coat and a lovely thick mane. He is just plain GORGEOUS.
He has been trained in driving, as well, and is experienced driving both as a single and in pairs driving. He is also an experienced trail horse.
Only the TOP Friesian horses receive the coveted STER predicate for their outstanding conformation and impressive gaits. This talented gelding was ranked in the top 5% as a foal, earning a 1st premie!!!! Quite an achievement for this gorgeous boy.
Gosse is a level-headed, quiet gelding, with an affectionate disposition.
Gosse has 3 floating gaits, and has been shown by a young novice rider. He has the most wonderful disposition. He is calm and gentle, and would do well with beginning riders as well as advanced riders. He is forward, NO WHIP OR SPURS NEEDED!
If you are looking for a PROVEN dressage winner, that is a true dressage schoolmaster, Gosse is a good one!!Gosse is forward, moves easly off your leg, and is light in your hand. He is FUN to ride!!!
