Remko is a very special and hard to find 10 yr old gelding. It is not often that we are offered horses that have as much experience and are seasoned riding and driving horses, accustomed to a variety of settings, such as Remko. NOTHING fazes this gelding, and Remko has the LONG mane and forlock and fairytale looks everyone is looking for!!
Remko is a TRUE DREAM HORSE, with HAIR HAIR, and MORE HAIR. And check out those poofy feathers!! He reminds us of our Sterling... Easy to see why.. Remko is sired by the legendary Oege Preferent [Sterling's dam is by Oege Pref], better known as the "hair man". Oege is no longeer living, and is our favorite approved stallion EVER. We love horses with Oege in them, because they have excellent work ethics, kind eyes, and unbelievable mane, tails, and feathers. It is rare that we are able to by a son or daughter of Oege anymore, and Remko has a PHENOMENAL pedigree!! He is sired by Oege Preferent, and dam's sire is Leffert Preferent. That is double Preferents!! Wow.
And Remko is TALL. 165 cm. He has a true deep black coat and a recent thorough pre-purchase.
Remko is the perfect experienced Friesian with rock solid training and experience being ridden and driven in EVERY situation you can think of. He was used by a gentleman in his 4 in hand on the weekends, and ridden dressage and taken on trails during the week, in Austria.
He has SOOOO much experience being driven and ridden in traffic, and in arenas and parades with all kinds of lights and loud noises, and he is 100% reliable, and bombproof. You would like a safe horse? And one that will get the attention of EVERYONE around? Remco is your man.
Remco is like a labrador, he LOVES attention, and is just the kindest, sweetest boy you can imagine. He is also very suitable for competitive dressage.
