Horse Description
Phoenix is a Sporty Fairytale Gelding!! With tons of hair.
We imported Phoenix in 2004 for a customer in San Diego, and when we heard he was getting out of horses, we immediately purchased this dream boy back.
Phoenix was shown and has points in M level Dressage (2nd level) in Holland prior to our import, and he is a lovely mover. He is good to handle, ridden on trails and on the golf course 3 times per week since import. Phoenix is not a lazy boy, he LIKES to work. This forward going friesian has been ridden by amateurs for the past several years, but is talented enough to go far with professional.
He is easy to ride and comfortable to sit, we LOVE his canter. He is also not lazy, no whips or spurs needed:) Phoenix will not disappoint you. We are sure of that!
He is the kind of gelding that will be IDEAL for not only the competitive dressage show arena, but also parades, exhibitions, horse camping and all day trail rides or adventures on horseback. The kind of horse that can become your best friend. This is a horse that will GET YOU NOTICED:)
In Europe, Phoenix consistently scored above 60%, moving up the levels, from Training, to First, and then to Second Level. Phoenix is a very sweet horse and uncomplicated. If you are looking for a RARE, hard to find, fairytale looking Friesian with POINTS in M Dressage, that is FANCY, has beautiful long hair, and balanced floaty gaits--Phoenix is your man. He is versatile, sound , and fun to ride!!
And he certainly has ster potential, although he was never tried.
Born 4/23/99, Phoenix has a low in breeding co-efficient of 3.90%.
If you like HAIR, look no further, Phoenix has enough for 3 horses!!!
He has never had any health or soundness issues whatsoever. He has had the utmost in care since import. His teeth were last floated 30 days ago, and he was completely vaccinated 45 days ago. He just got new shoes just 2 weeks ago.
This boy is ready to be someone's new stunning dressage or trail partner.
Not too many friesians look like Phoenix!!
