Janna, Dimitri/Maximus made it to Iowa late Saturday night! He's so sweet and beautiful. Love him already! I can't believe how well he's adapting after such a very long journey! I've been playing with him every day and he impresses me with how much he likes people. He is so sweet and tender yet when he stretches his legs and gallops off he looks so powerful, so magnificent. Hi Janna, I thought you might like an update on Alesandro, who has been renamed Shanti. He arrived in the middle of “mud season” in the Rockies and needed time to adjust but has now settled comfortably into his place at the barn. He is a favorite and everyone comments on how gorgeous and sweet he is. My 14 year old son has fallen head over heels for him and has been taking riding lessons on him and wants to spend every spare moment he has hanging out with his horse! I have to fight for riding rights and we’ll definitely be needing another one! Shanti has such a beautiful character and will follow us around his run when we are cleaning it, greets us as we’re coming down the aisle, and actively seeks us out for love.
